Whilst I'm pleased they are adding items for free for PS4 users what is the total car count in the game now? Was it not lacking to start with?

Yeah I'm surprised how little its mentioned. IFixIt had a piece on it within their teardown. MS apparently also use the flash ram as a cache whilst running apps and game titles concurrently.
Essentially the console has 16GB of memory. 8 'fast' DDR3 for normal use and 8 slower flash for system use.
PS4 to my knowledge has no such provision so they would probably rely on a mem dump to HDD for suspend into standby
This might have been covered in the comments but I'm reasonably sure that the PS4 cannot support this feature - at least not in the same way as X1.
The X1 has a separate 8GB non volatile ram chip on its mobo. This allows the current game state to be flashed from main memory to the other chip, allowing power down of the unit into standby mode. I think you will still lose it all if you power down completely.

I'm genuinely sorry for those that really had high hopes for this and only have a PS4. Probably still worth a purchase albeit wait for the sale price.

RYSE is best I've ever seen.
I can't speak for other consoles games but I'm sure its been mentioned already that RYSE is the only title that won an industry recognised award for best real time graphics.
Not sure If any games on the other platform can say that yet ;)

Not bad. I don't have an issue with my 2tb toshiba drive being separate as its hidden behind the console in my tv cabinet and its bus powered anyway and easy to swap out when larger 2.5" drives comes along.
I do like the provision for more USB ports though.

Agreed. The software dev team at MS are just a different class. 360 updates were only quarterly or half yearly and they had lots of changes but the rate of these X1 improvements is incredible.

This is not the first time I have seen suggestions of Steam on X1.
I highly doubt it myself but it would be very cool. If MS got this exclusive then it would arguably be the biggest megaton ever to rock the gaming space.
Hmmmm. This game is certainly getting a lot of scrutiny before its release which is probably unfair.
I think there are a few issues:
1. There is a perceived need/pressure for a really good PS4 exclusive from the community and media in general.
2. The game has been hyped up beyond what is reasonable.
3. There is a selection of the community that wants it to fail.

Given that this is N4SG I'm quite surprised that this got approved. Wait a couple of hours and there will no doubt be a counter article that will go to 2000 deg in 5 mins, putting it at the top of the page saying that the PS4 has 12 graphics contexts, can reduce CPU to GPU latency by rubbing its own balls with peanut butter whilst doing compute with a reefer in its mouth all at 1080p 120fps just like the PS3 did :)
why are people on here so bothered by what score they gave it? It's just one website. Doesn't affect the sales. It is just opinion.
I'm always surprised by why many who have already bought the game and given the developer their money have such a vested interest in how others perceive it.
The bigger criticism is where is the free version that Sony 'promised'
